Two Options to Apply
An Individual in need, or someone on their behalf, can apply for a SAFE grant by submitting an application through one of the options above.
- All cases are confidential. Only the case manager knows the identity of the individual.
- The case manager assigned to the case provides a “blind” summary to the SAFE Executive Board for review and approval.
- If approved, a specific funding amount for assistance is set – based on case needs and the SAFE funds available at that time .
- SAFE does not hand out cash donations. The case manager works directly with those owed monies, such as doctors, hospitals, landlords, mortgage companies, insurance companies, utilities etc. to resolve payment, thereby helping the individual and ensuring efficient use of SAFE funds.
